UBC Okanagan engineering professor Dr. Mina Hoorfar and her now graduated PhD student Dr. Mohammad Paknahad developed a handheld device, known as a microfluidic-based gas analyzer that can detect the presence of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in a person’s breath.
