Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR)

Gain access to extra hands-on support provided by local industry experts.

Entrepreneur-in-Residence act as an additional support for the UBCO community. An EiR is typically a successful startup CEO and/or executive, bringing extensive sector-specific expertise and guidance to the venture-building journey.

Our current EiRs, Rick Cooper, Gelly Gnissios, and Melissa Loerke, work with teams one-on-one through office hours, assist with content development and delivery and serve as champion mentors.

Learning from someone who has ‘been there’ is invaluable.
