Innovation Sandbox
COMING SOON – Innovation Sandbox is a continually evolving and dynamic offering that caters to the requirements of our community on a regular basis. Each month may bring a different iteration of Innovation Sandbox, from hands-on workshops to information sessions to networking opportunities. Sandbox sessions are fluid with a range of topics including but not limited to:
- commercialization pathways
- intellectual property (IP) support
- product development
- scientific research & experimental development (SR&ED)
- fundraising
- pitching
- non-dilutive funding opportunities
- human resources and team development
We work with our expert partners to present topics, discuss case studies, and offer Q&A for participants. We also use this platform to engage our UBCO community with the broader Okanagan ecosystem by bringing them to partner events like the Okanagan Angel Summit.
Innovation Sandbox is free for UBCO students, faculty, staff and alumni. No experience is required. Participants must register in advance to attend.
